The international and national Skill Up-graders continuously identify modern construction methods that make traditional building techniques more effective and efficient, reduce production costs, save time and improve the quality of products. These methods are called “good practices” in building construction.
UCBP conducts workshops for construction companies, architects and engineering, local and regional enterprises and cooperatives to introduce these good practices and working procedures for further usages.
UCBP shares these good practices in the booklet “Good Practices for Ethiopia’s construction sector” (link to download booklet) to sustain knowledge, improvements and experiences gained by an intercultural team. This can support the Ethiopian construction sector on its way to international competitiveness.
