Students Enrollment

UCBP targets to provide additional 121,000 new study opportunities within higher education sector by 2012. The program is an important addition to the Ethiopian government’s previous effort to expand the sector. According to the Ministry of Education's statistics, in 2004/05, there were 138,159 undergraduate students enrolled in the higher education system. A figure that shall nearly double upon completion of the UCBP site constructions in 2012 to approximately 260, 000 undergraduate students.
